Rules
These are the simm rules which every player must abide by. The CO reserves the right to dismiss you from the simm should you make a major breach of these rules. Minor offenses will usually result in a warning unless it is misconduct against another simm member or insubordination to the CO, in such examples the CO reserves the right to refer the matter to Obsidian Fleet's JAG Office for further evaluation.
All players should at some point have read the Obsidian Fleet Rules and Code of Justice before posting. (located HERE).

The Raider uses third person script style posting as seen in that sample post, however novel style writing is acceptable if it is clearly written and understandable.
All players in the sim must post at least 200 words in character once every two weeks else they will be removed from the game (Unless notice of a Leave Of Absence is given). This applies to the CO as well. A number of posts over the same period adding up to a total of 200 or greater words is sufficient, though all posts should aim to be no less than 100 words long to move the storyline along a suitable amount.
Please take the time to read all posts fully, and check for new posts just before you post.
Do not change the mission title (email subject line), this will usually only be done by the CO. It is also good practice to remove the 're:' that most E-mail clients insert.
If you have a mission idea for the ship, please can send this to the CO for consideration.
You should write your post underneath the last post, and please leave the previous post above yours for reference - you can remove any text before that post.
Try to involve all the crew - if you notice that a player hasn't been involved much recently, try to write a post that includes the player and that they can respond to.
At the end of a post, you need to put your rank, name, position and ship. An example of the CO's would be:

Please refrain from using any offensive material in the OFF or OOC section of your post. Remember this is a PG13 game.
Have fun - if you don't enjoy this game something is amiss and it needs to be resolved ASAP. Speak to the XO or CO, perhaps they can get you enjoying the game again.
